About the Role
As a grill Chef you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking burgers and grilled menu items to the highest standards of quality, speed, and consistency. This role is essential in delivering great-tasting food in a fast-paced environment while following food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Cook steak, grilled chicken and other menu items to a high standard
Operate and maintain grills, flat tops, and cooking equipment safely
Ensure correct cooking temperatures, portion control, and presentation
Prepare ingredients and organise stations before service
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station at all times
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Monitor stock levels at the grill station and report shortages
Minimise food waste and maintain efficient service speed
Assist with kitchen cleaning, closing, and deep cleaning duties
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a Grill Chef, Line Cook, or Burger Chef preferred
Knowledge of grilling techniques and fast paced kitchen service
Food Safety & Hygiene certification (required)
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to multitask and work efficiently
